Our Coverage Area

The Grand View Fire Department provides fire protection over a 144 square mile area of Bayfield County, WI. We provide service to the Town of Grand View , 108 square miles, and contract to the Town of Lincoln, 36 square miles. In addition, mutual aide is rendered over an area of 540 square miles. Most of the area is National Forest with limited access and several areas where no motorized traffic is allowed, period. Mutual assistance agreements are also in effect with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources and the U.S. Forest Service.
