Schedule of Events

All You Can Eat Spaghetti Feed:
Carb-up on the best homemade spaghetti dinner in Bayfield County.  Served Friday evening before the big bike race on Saturday morning.  Your choice of spaghetti sauce with meat or vegetarian, complete with garlic bread, coleslaw, and beverage.  Live Music by Russ Darwin!
Served:  4:30 pm – 7:30 pm.
Prices:  Adults $8 | Kids (under 10) $4 | Tots (under 3) Free

Pancake Breakfast:
Start your morning with hot pancakes and sausage.  Complete your meal with hot coffee or milk.  Serving starts at 6:30 am on Saturday morning and 7:30 am on Sunday morning.

ALL DAY – Live Music Saturday:  11 am to 11 pm
Be entertained all day with outstanding live music.
Price:  All music is FREE for the listening and dancing!

Pulled-Pork Dinner:
Enjoy a relaxing evening with a delicious pulled pork dinner.  Complete with gravy, mashed potatoes, coleslaw, bread and beverage.  Live dinner music.
Served:  4:00 pm – 7:00 pm.
Prices:  Adults-$8 | Kids (under 10) $5 | Tots (under 3) Free

Concessions & Beer Stand:
Concessions include:  hamburgers, hot dogs, brats and BBQ’s.  Sides include:  baked beans, coleslaw, potato salad, sauerkraut and ice cream for dessert.
Don’t forget to try Kurt’s Corn – it’s a Grand View tradition.

If a cold beverage is what you seek, Budweiser products are available at the Beer Stand, next to the Town Park Pavilion.  Soda and water also available.

Raffle:
1st Prize:  Kubota Z-122RKW Zero-turn riding mower
2nd Prize:  5’ x 10’ utility trailer
Additional Prizes:  Cedar patio table, cedar picnic table, a pair of cedar Adirondack chairs, $250 cash, car wash kit tools

Tickets available at Grand View General Store, Choppers Bar & Grill, Pioneer Bar, Lulich Implement, a Grand View Firefighter or the during the Firehouse Weekend.

Games:

  • Kids – Games for ages 10 and under on the tennis courts.
    Saturday:  11:00 am – 2:00 pm
    Sunday:  11:00 am – 1:00 pm
  • Adults – Gather a team and compete in the bean bag toss competition.
    Sunday:  time to be announced

Clothing and Merchandise:
High quality clothing available.  Many items to choose from and everything from t-shirts, sweatshirts, and jackets for men, women and children.  Find your cow-bell here.  Every year there’s something new.

Spectator Information:
Starting Line:

  • Bike races:  Spectators can line County Hwy D (past Ballpark) to cheer on the riders.  Spectators are also allowed along the race course.
  • 15K run:  Spectators can cheer on runners at the Town Park.  Spectators are allowed along the race course.

Finish Line:

  • Bike races:  Spectators can line along Cudworth Avenue in Grand View and Hwy 63 west of Cudworth Avenue.  If you plan to stand at the northeast corner of Hwy 63 and Cudworth Ave, please be very watchful of riders.
  • Run races:  All running races end at the Town Park on Grand View Boulevard in Grand View.

The Firehouse Run Races were started in 1979, and included the 10 Mile and 2 Mile races.  The Firehouse 50 Bike race was added the following year in 1980.
